The beach is for the humans in the summer, but it is the hotspot almost all year-round for the stray animals. The humans like to lay on their backs either in colorful trunks or skimpy bathing suits, and might catch the incoming wave or wade into the deep. Strays are not allowed on the sands during the day in the summer, but at night, people have the privelige to take their pets out as long as they clean up their mess.

Sharkstead's boardwalk is rather old, but in tip-top shape. Each summer, humans flock to it like gulls and search for objects with really no value and hand over their greenbacks. Some gulls have tried to steal the currency, but it has no worth to them. Humans are out of this world.

Sharkstead is, at heart, an old vintage town in modern times. You can see for yourself downtown on Main Street. Cars pass through the intersection, and a few offices and shops line the streets. Strays ought to be careful around the roaring machines.

This area is claimed by the Street Queen, self-proclaimed mother and friend of the strays who seek haven on the streets.

Wheatley Park was a development construction site. It has been long abandoned, since maybe the seventies. Debris is strewn about, and half-built houses offer little protection against the elemnents, other than wind. Nonetheless, prey is in an abundance here.

The cemetery was founded in 1909, and some say it is haunted. This rumor makes it a hotspot for teens to visit at night. Sometimes, strays seek the advice of Rassan, the old wise raven that lives in an ancient gnarled tree that many believe has stood there since the dawn of time.
