Shackler's Cove is surrounded by rocky cliffs that steadily rise above the beach of Sharkstead. Many seabirds find shelter either in the sand that is shielded by the cliffs, or on them. Few people other than scientists have visited this remote location.
The shack is hidden in the tallest of beach grass, between two dunes on an ancient beaten path. If anyone notices, it's clear nothing but animals live there, because of its size. And their prediction is actually the truth - animals have overrun the place. Canines and felines alike favor the spot, mostly because nobody owns it.
