Used in the late 18th and 19th centuries as a hotel for hose passing through town, the Sharkstead Hotel has now been converted into the local pub. Drunkards or htose wishing to drink their sorrows away gather here regularly, and there is almost always a pianist playing at the baby grand in the far corner.
